Hello, Racers!
Registrations are streaming in at a pretty good clip, and the anticipation keeps growing for this race. Here are some things you should be aware of:
BIKES
As we determined last year, cyclocross bikes will not be allowed. The prevailing thought is that there could be an advantage so we’ll keep it strictly mountain bikes, at least for another year.
TEE-SHIRTS
The P2P special edition T’s, which can be ordered when entering the race (a mere $12.50!), will also be available on race day. But there will be a limited supply at that time, so best to reserve one when you register early. Race day price will be $13.00. A view of the shirt is available by clicking on the ‘T-shirt’ icon.
LATE REGISTRATION
Remember that if you wait to register on the Friday before the race, or the morning of the race, it will cost you an extra ten bucks. We let that policy slide last year because the form still had the pre-register price on it. This year, the form will reflect the day-before and day-of price of $10 more for all entries. So register early!
Mail in registrations must be post marked a week before, which is Saturday, October 13, 2007, to qualify for the early entry fee. On-line registration closes Wed, October 17th at 11:00 P.M. EST.
